Superb food is usually harder to find or they are just hidden somewhere around the corner waiting to be explored, which brings me to this place where one of my friends introduce. These restaurants are located at Isetan Japan Store Lot 10, Bukit Bintang.
The only way to access the floor is only from the Isetan Japan Store, take the escalator and head right towards the 4th floor. There are 5 different restaurants and 1 cafe/bar serving different tastes of Japanese related cuisine and style and in case you get confuse your way, there is a map on your right upon entering from the escalator.
These restaurants are named as the following:
- The Tokyo Restaurant
- Tonkatsu Anzu
- Sushi Azabu
- Toriden
- Yakiniku Toraji
- Yakitori Robata-Yaki Touan
I've decided to try out Yakitori Robata-Yaki Touan this visit. Upon entering, the chef and kitchen crew will be announcing loudly "Welcome Touan" while I'm greeted by the waitress, like I say ambient is very nice and it helps you smoothen the mood when dining in as well.
After getting down my orders by the waitress, she sends up the order towards the kitchen and you will hear again the kitchen crew announce loudly "Thank you for Ordering". I find this quite pleasant, as I've never encountered other Japanese restaurant doing such settings on their services.
Again I've heard kitchen crew announce loudly "Thank you for Waiting", this means one of my order has been served out from the kitchen to my table. The appetizer was a Salmon & Avacado Salad, didn't realize it was this big in the first place as usually it only one person serving.
Next up is the side dish, Marinated Fried Chicken Wing served out from the kitchen with "Thank you for Waiting" 😆😆
Finally, two of the main dish comes together with " Thank you for Waiting" yet again filling up the table. The table we were having was actually a 4 seated, imagine if 4 people ordering the number of foods 🙈🙈.
The food and services have been exceptionally good and it's rare to get it elsewhere on any Japanese restaurant here. The waitress will teach the proper step or guide on how to consume the food in the Japanese way if there is one.
Like 's Unagi Eel set, usually is just eating it up with no proper steps but in here there are 3 steps:
It took us an hour more to finish up the food, and we are fully bloated 😂😂. One thing we notice about the waiter and waitress who work here are actually Sabahan 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 just by listening to the way they are talking with the Sabah slang. It was nice to meet Sabahan in such place, feels like home indeed. Upon exiting the restaurant, all the member of the restaurant will proudly say "Arigato Kosaimas (Thank You)" as a goodbye greet.
Conclusion, I would give this place a 9 out of 10 stars but still, this is based on my own judge of food and services. Totally damage for this dinner is around 10+ STEEM 🙈🙈, I'll be back to try out the other 5 more restaurants, stay tuned!
