Greetings from Malaysia! You can call me Lau or ABeatC (My stage name :)), and I'm a professional beatboxer from Malaysia that's been performing professionally for the past ten years. I also run Beatnation, the Malaysia Beatbox community and I found Steemit to be a great platform for my community to participate in!!
We've been around since 2011/2012 and done a few notable things such as winning championships in foreign countries, represented Malaysia on the World Beatbox Championship, and organized beatbox events for all the years we've been around. Why I do what I do is because I truly believe the potential and creativity that beatboxing can bring to an individual, it encourages personality, style, and self-confidence. I used to be a shy introvert when I was 14 but after I started beatboxing, I've performed in front of crowds of thousands and I loved every moment of it, not to mention the people I've met, the knowledge I gained, and the experiences I've had. It's truly irreplaceable.
