I was in the room with the bride who had already finished her make-up, when the mother came in full of emotion and planted a kiss with her lips painted on her cheek. The make-up artist happened to be present and when he saw mom's lip contact on the daughter's fresh make-up base, he screamed his head off. I was so lucky to capture that historic and hilarious moment, where the bride's mom's face says it all, going from love to despair and then to laughter, all in one 60-second sequence. Today, the bride told me that it is the most beautiful thing of all the work I did at the wedding, because it captured the essence of her mother's personality. I smile every time I see this sequence, I think it's great and I feel lucky to have captured it.
Estaba en la habitación con la novia que ya había terminado su maquillaje, cuando entra la madre llena de emoción y le planta un beso con sus labios pintados en la mejilla. Resulta que el maquillista estaba presente y cuando vio aquél contacto de labios de mamá sobre la base de maquillaje fresco de la hija, metió el grito en el cielo. Tuve la gran suerte de capturar ese momento histórico e hilarante, donde la cara de la mamá de la novia lo dice todo, va del amor a la desesperación y luego a la carcajada, todo en una secuencia de 60 segundos. Actualmente, la novia me afirmó que es lo más bello de todo el trabajo que hice en la boda, porque captó la esencia de la personalidad de su madre. Yo sonrío cada vez que veo esta secuencia, me parece genial y me siento afortunado de haberla capturado.
