Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
You've probably often heard people arguing in various places, with one person claiming their point is right and the other claiming theirs is right. It's often difficult to determine who is correct because sometimes both individuals are right from their own perspective. They base their judgments of right and wrong on what they've observed since childhood and the values instilled in them. Their thinking is shaped by these experiences. The biggest influence on us comes from the company we keep and the mindset of those around us. The thinking of the family we grow up with has a significant impact, but as we get older, the thoughts of our friends, classmates, or relatives also influence us considerably, as we tend to be influenced by others and start behaving like them. Therefore, the kind of people we associate with is crucial, as our thinking is shaped accordingly.
What truly matters in changing our thinking is our emotions, because often it's these emotions that prevent us from changing our perspective and accepting the truth. If someone comes along and presents a logical argument that contradicts a belief you've held for years, you'll likely dismiss their argument as wrong. This is because many people experience a sense of ego in such situations, believing they are right and the other person is wrong. However, the belief you've developed is often simply something someone instilled in your mind during childhood, and you've carried it with you ever since. If you had questioned that person's reasoning at the time, perhaps that belief wouldn't have influenced you so much, and you wouldn't have accepted it. Only by judging something based on its logic can we determine whether it's truly factual or simply a baseless assertion.

These days, you've probably noticed that there's so much information available on social media, and every fourth person seems to be creating videos full of information. This often makes you wonder if some of the information you've learned since childhood is actually wrong, especially when these people present arguments to disprove it. So, whose information should you trust, and whose should you dismiss as false? This situation can be quite confusing, and I've often found myself in this dilemma, completely unsure of what to believe. Sometimes, we tend to believe things that are repeated by many people, but that's not always the case. The information that is presented with logical reasoning, and which you find logically sound, is more likely to be true. You shouldn't trust anything about which you have even the slightest doubt.
If you think about it, you shouldn't trust everything you hear, and it's not always true that what you're being told is actually the truth. Sometimes people say things just to say them, but they're not actually true. I once visited my maternal uncle's house, and he had a neighbor with a young child who was quite mischievous and would often run away. There was a small gate in their house that led to the other side of the property, and the child could easily open it because it was quite light. The child would open the gate and go outside, which sometimes resulted in him getting hurt because the path outside was quite rough. So, his father started telling him that there was a ghost outside the gate and that it would come and catch him. The next day, his father wrapped himself in a large blanket, created a scary getup, and went to the other side of the gate. As soon as the child opened the gate and went outside, his father jumped out to scare him, and the child ran back inside, crying. From that day on, the child was afraid to even go near the gate because he believed that there was actually a ghost there. Now, this idea will be ingrained in his mind forever, and until he gains a better understanding of the world, this fear will remain. The day he realizes that it was all a big lie, he will understand that things are not always what they seem.
Similarly, many events happen in our lives that seem true to us, but the real story behind them is quite different. Therefore, you should first humbly and calmly investigate the things you have doubts about and look for the facts supporting the things you believe to be true. Because if someone comes along tomorrow and tries to prove you wrong, you should have the facts to back up your claim and explain why something is true. What we see is not always true, and what seems like a lie to us is not always a lie.
