Hello steemians welcome to another beautiful day, hope you have been enjoying my series on fish farming, i talked about how to treat your pond and sick fishes, i also made mention about the drying method and how i am making plans to get a dryer. And lastly i showed you how to formulate your own fish feed.
With all that said let us rush to the main event of today post, over the week i visited a cow slaughter house located in Edo state of Nigeria, i wanted to acquire blood meal which was one of the ingredients need for my fish feed formulation.
Cow Slaughter House
As the name implies, it is a house built where local market trader's visit to purchase shared cows at cheaper price, on the slaughter house cows are killed and shared to smaller parts, and get parts are paid by a local trader who then take that meat to the market and sell to the finial customers.
Apart from cow meat, other parts of the cow are useful to someone, like i earlier said i visited the slaughter house to purchase blood meal.
I also noticed that the cow drooping was also in use, also a local market women is seen in the picture below collecting the droppings.... Cow dropping is very rich and serve as plant fertilizer.
