"... You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows, kindness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever." (Psalm 23:5-6)
Psalm 23 is a complete promise that the enemy can not override. How wonderful it is, even if we find ourselves in the valley of the shadow of death, we do not need to be afraid on this path of righteousness, but rather, to have fellowship with God, as He prepares a table for us. I tell you with great certainty and conviction that the Lord also wants to guide you through the path of righteousness for His name's sake. But you must allow yourself to be guided! However, it often happens that we are guided by the path of justice through the dark valleys, by paths we do not want: "... another will gird you and take you where you do not want to." Moreover, these dark valleys of the shadow of death begin to multiply, for as children of God we are led by the dark valley of the end times. It grows darker around us, and it is as Isaiah says: "The morning cometh, and also the night." Even though the morning of the coming of the Lord is approaching in all its light and clarity, the darkness of the end times, the reign of the antichrist, is similarly approaching, for it will take place just before Jesus' triumphal return. Let us not be surprised if a long path to the path of justice is dark. At the end of the way there is light, for there the exalted and blessed Lord Jesus Christ awaits us. He is our target, and very soon we will see him!
