Once in a month my wife and me play with children from the peolple from our church. Also once in a month some migrants visit our cafe-program "Tarhib". This is arab and means "welcome".
Today we invited both groups into our garden.
The migrants came from Syria and had to flee from the war. They have found a new "home" in our city. It is very important, that these people are not lost in a ghetto.
In the meanwhile we are friends and it is nice to see how happy the children are, when they play in our garden.
In the moment we have summer and it is hot enough to play in the creek or in the pool.
We also made some BBQ and "Stockbrot", a bread that you put on a stick and hold it into the glow.
I played the guitar and we sang a few songs. It was a very nice evening.
