I was unable to reproduce the issue on my 5.1 phone or my 7.1 emulator

It is highly advised that you try and reproduce the issue you encounter on a 2nd device before you submit a bug report. Also in cases of crash, a logcat is usually required for debugging. Here is a handy tutorial on how to get one..

Also, please try and format your post a little. Without any styling It's harder to decipher. See this styling guide by Hive account@espoem.
