That's a quick drawing, wet-in-wet technique on paper. I didn't wet the paper before starting the painting.
I simply love to mix the colors and watercolour medium is satisfying quickly the feeling of an artwork finished in couple of minutes.
This was more like an excellent exercise for practicing the golden hour effect of light, when the light is more redder and softer then when the Sun is higher on the sky.
What I like most in twilights are the clouds illuminated by a range of colors and the next time I will definitely use more yellow and orange.
