today I decided to take a break from "building" things
had some irl stuff to do so part of my day went towards that, walking around and standing around gets kind of exhausting after a while
I'm also taking a bit of time to reflect on the "projects" I've worked on these past couple weeks since I got into Claude Code, trying to work back to prioritizing what's important and useful right now to start shipping that out and polishing it.
I think there's value to be had in the meme widget I've been working on, I may even evolve it a bit more and launch it with some kind of meme token connected to it, with the launch of 
I'm also going to start working on the scrobble idea some more here soon, now with opus 4.7 I had it look into the code again and it found a bug that was causing the app to double post the custom json's, hopefully it's patched now and not just another "fixed!... oh wait, I see the problem now, fixed! oh, still not working? oh I see the problem now.. fixed?!" Cause there was a lot of that, but could also be cause I was using Sonnet at times without realizing.
Trial by error.
There's probably going to be a lot of that, but I wanna make sure the error part isn't something that causes people using my products/services to get in any dangerous grounds, and claude is supposed to be good at finding security breaches so hopefully it judges its own code just as good as other people's.
A lot of things in the works, but some waiting time still required,
unfortunately.
That's kind of been the norm working on anything lately, or at least before Claude. There's still things I don't wanna pass alone but I'm edging closer to experimenting with more things and learning along the way. Dunno, it's kind of given me more things to do at a time where I felt like I already had a lot of things to do - hive wise at least. Now I'm getting to a point where I feel like time voting/curating on hive is time lost I could be spending giving prompts to Claude to work on something bigger/more meaningful. For Hive of course, it'll probably take more than a -whatever% we're at now from whatever height you wanna look at (don't say $3 cause that was barely a blip in the history of this coin's price).
Things feel kind of dull however when prices are this low. Morale is low and it kind of festers and infects you, especially when some keep singing the same tune over and over, makes you just wanna look away before you start judging them too much.
We all have our intentions, our reasons and our feelings to act the way we do. Some say the price being what it is could be a good thing but looking at how few people here or new ones coming in from the outside powering up is kind of a disappointment. When the tide falls... something something. Dunno, I personally wish I could be buying more Hive at these prices, I also kind of wish I hadn't spent as much as I did on my projects if only to buy more now and not have most of my assets locked up. The looming pressure of my reserves running low is also a thought I don't wanna have too often, especially with hive being this undervalued, it's quite a sucky situation. Most importantly it feels like it's stifling a lot of things from being properly built here.
It does make you think back and wonder if you should've done things differently. Acted earlier, acted more, asked more about the funds being spent, questioned things more. Dunno, there's little point to talking about it now, much less kicking the same dead horse over and over, but it does make me wanna act next time things turn around, not cause I think I could do things better but cause trying something else might be better, or at least not allowing the same things to happen again. Dunno. These messages might be super cryptic to outsiders to read but maybe my usual readers may catch my drift.
Where's the marketing guys!?
It's pretty good marketing that whenever I think of the word "break", I think of Kitkat.
I'm pretty sure most projects are in "maintenance mode" currently, not the way someone suggested some projects should go, but more like survival mode, they're still running, barebones probably, but waiting for the tide to rise again so they can start spending for some light in the darkness. It'd be kind of sad if we never got to shoot our shot. We know things work here and work well, we've seen a glimmer of it before and we've made sure that when it returns we'll be ready and can carry the load. The question is will it return and if so when and how.
Okay, didn't mean to get that weird in this post, maybe I've been reflecting a bit too much and should get back to building.
