Here I am with $640 helping a local friend buy a little bitcoin and then hopefully, when steem is low enough for them, some steem. At select 711 locations you can now upload money, or lol i mean make a cash load to your Bitpay card, so the cycle is complete. When i was told about this a few days ago I realizes it was a game changer, but I thought it was going to let me deposit cash at Bank ATMs just like I withdrawl from them with my Bitpay Visa Debit Card, but it is for now just at 711s and perhaps other locations to come. I am excited because now I can just buy BTC without having to pay 7% markup prices from a local dealer which I am grateful to have but times are changing.
Oh and I did say you can buy steem at 711 right? I know its kinda clickbait but is it? Once you have your Bitpay wallet loaded with Bitcoin after giving cash to the 711 cashier, who will scan your Bitpay wallet qr code like a gift card, and then BEFORE you leave the 711 you can have steem in your steem account in just seconds converting btc to steem using https://blocktrades.us and you really can say that you left the 711 with steem! So you are buying Bitcoin at 711 via new Bitpay load process but you then use blocktrades to buy the steem in just seconds and its so easy I feel like you really are essentially buying Steem at 711! + your steem account is your blocktrades account so no worry about needing to "signup" for them, they are a special exchange just for steemians but you can use it to easily convert many altcoins like shapeshift. I am pretty sure blocktrades will do @golos.io a favor & add it since
golos wallet is down & also i bet eos will be added.
Anyway the last picture is a screenshot of just how nice app for steem is at organizing posts, like instagram, & makes using steem so much slicker.
Anyway I just wanted to show that you can go help family and friends to invest in steem like advised us to which we MUST work harder at! Imagine if 100,000 users got $100 each to buy steempower
