Wednesday.
An accomplished day with beautiful weather and lots of lovely encounters.
And I didn't forget about the #wednesdaywalk initiative today. Now that I am back in the #takemorewalks routine I should really try to make that a habit again, too. And apparently the wednesday-walking has joined forces with #makemesmile, great, I'm not really sure what that is about, but I think I've got a few smiles to share today.
I drove back home in the morning, for a short visit at Snuggleberry's, to bring him some fresh salad and show him that I still care, even though I don't get to give him much time lately.
It's always a big smile for me to see him recognize my voice and come for a cuddle right away even though we don't see each other much lately.
But we're here to talk about the walking.
Half way on the drive back I stopped to take a little walk out to a small lake in the forest. I noticed a peculiar looking freshly cut tree stump by the side of the trail.
Someone had given it a frowny face.
And somehow that made me smile.
When I reached the lake I was greeted by a stunning view. A beautiful and serene place.
I spent a little while by the lake to enjoy the view and atmosphere. So much life by the water.
Tiny little froggies. Soooo tiny!
And lots of funky insects like this one:
And this one:
A good start for this Wednesday, cuddles with Snuggleberry and an amazing walk to the lake.
And the evening had a highlight, too. I know, it's not Saturday, but any day can be a great #caturday!
This graceful kitty was guarding the path into the forest when I went for another walk in the evening.
I sat down on the bench an she curiously approached...
...to eventually get a good handful of cuddles and purrs exchanged.
Village life... I'm getting used to it.
Thanks for your time!
