In this life there is anything that I am craving for so badly is the soft life that I see others live. Yes of course I know that it comes with it's own consequences, but I don't really mind. I will prefer it to this life of suffering that I was born into and it has made me struggle so much in this journey. I think is time to say - enough to that.
The topic for week 215 episode 2 is so interesting that I will just jump into the discussion immediately.
The question says - Do you support Self- Driving Cars becoming mainstream in our society? Yes of course. Looking at where our discussion started you will know that I will really support it not minding that others may have their different opinions about the topic. I believe it brings about soft life and From what I gathered before, self driving cars hardly hit anyone on the road because it senses people from afar and just stop to avoid hitting that person. I also believe that it will help in so many ways. Every instructions that should be followed on the high ways are already inputed in it. It won't be like humans that wants to cut corners and do something wrong because of one reason of the other.
Take for example when our parents only knew about cooking with firewood and kerosene, how did gas cooker sound to the people back then? People never liked the idea of cooking with gas cooker. Some say that it will burn the whole house, and others said so many things to make it look very bad. But our fears couldn't stop it. Is all over the place now and even our old mothers in the village cook it gas cooker today. Technology must continue to strive despite all odds because change is the only thing that is permanent.
WHEN PREVENTABLE ACCIDENT OCCUR, WHO WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE?
I don't think that we have anything to dear at all. The cars will only work with the instructions given to it, it won't go against the law like we humans do all the time. I believe that when we all start using self driving cars, there will be little or no accident while on the high ways. Unless if it is another person driving his or her own car will go against the law and hit the self driving car, but by itself it won't bring any harm to people.
MY THOUGHT
I will rush this type of cars if I have the opportunity to do so. Why? Because it will reduce the cost of paying a driver to drive you around. It will also reduce over speeding on the road because it knows where exactly to speed and where not to. With such cars, there will be no emergency on the road while driving because if the car is faulty, it won't move until the problem is fixed.
