One thing I want to do this year is focus on making BIGGER art! Usually I work on relatively small canvases, but now I want to start building up a body of work on larger canvases. In the art world, when it comes down to it - size matters! Simply put, bigger paintings command more attention and can be the focal point of a room. What do you think of this one?
I named it "Totem World" because the features near the middle of the canvas made up of vertical and horizontal lines with a circle on top made me think of a totem pole, and the overall feel of this style of my art is sort of like fun different levels or worlds in an 80's style side scrolling video game.
