Hi my dear Steemeans, how are you all doing?.
Today I would be sharing my visit to the Imo State Zoo, Eastern part of Nigeria🇳🇬.
It was my first time visiting the Eastern part of Nigeria.
My love for nature has taken me to several parks and reserves in Nigeria, but I hadn't visited this one.
I had heard many amazing things about this particular Zoo, because of its rich biodiversity.
And I boarded a 9hrs bus all the way to the Imo State Zoo☺️.
I got there late afternoon and couldn't wait to go in.
My first stop was the Lion's den🦁.
I got to take a selfie with the Queen.
Her name is Kiara.
She finally looked at the camera and we took the perfect selfie together

Our next stop was the Crocks swamp.🐊
You'd have to zoom in to see them.
My tour guide told us there are over 30 crocodiles in that swamp, hiding under the swampy water surface or blending in the shade.

Next we went to see the ostriches
And I got to take selfies as usual😁
Until this happened.
I got busted😮.
I guess he liked my wig and wanted to peck it off my head😁.
Next we visited the Baboons.🐵
He was quite friendly.
Next was this cute little fox.🐈
I even got to touch it's soft fur.🐈
We found this little tortoise too🐢
Then a Porcupine
Then we remembered we hadn't paid our respects to the King of the Zoo, Tyrex.🦁
How rude of us🤦.
Who was probably pissed off by our disregard for him and refused to come out into the den.
Would you blame him?.
I also got to pose and pretend to be a badass cowgirl💪👢.
