I actually made this video before the other one today but, it took more time to upload.
So here goes.
Why I chose this song?
I'm a classics lover and a hopeless romantic. My dad used to play this track and other Richard Marx tracks over and over again, when I was younger, so I kinda grew up with it😉
Feelings I got creating it
It was quite emotional and fun too, at the same time(I make every activity I do fun for myself). Like I said, this song brings back happy memories of my childhood. It represents one of last happy times/memories of my childhood.
It also reflects women's love-lives especially, African women.
You know, there's this crazy norm of men cheating and women being loyal still. It's sick right?. Especially in Africa, where it is normal and okay for a man to cheat/sleep around and a woman must stay put and suffer in silence. I won't take that. I believe in one man-one woman relationships 👩❤️💋👨.
Anyway, this is not a relationship/women's rights debate, so let's move on.
What I‘ve learnt about life and myself
Life isn't a bed of roses. You've got to make the best of what you have and be grateful.
I've also learnt to know my worth, to be strong, optimistic and happy in all circumstances.
Richard Marx killed this song and it's still a reigning classic today. I would like to sing a song and have it live for generations
Emotions
Watching this video over and over again makes me emotional, because it's a reminder of who I once was.

Yes, it did. I feel stronger as a woman. Like singing the song gave me power💪

Yes, it does👍. It soothes my soul.

I would to sing songs of hope for abused women and children
Did I feel breakthrough?
Yes, I did. I felt my message/warning was being passed across to whom it may concern, lol.

New virtues I applied throughout this experience, are patience, trust and unfailing love.
