Non-government organization refers to non-profit making organization that aims for social services and social work. As we know that, social work is an activity done for the welfare of the community and society. And, social service refers to the services given to the needy people. The most services organizations of the civil society with a development orientation and usually known as a Non-government organization.

They tend to have a well-specified mission, they have clearly identifiable formal structure, etc. The non-government organization is the varying size from a small entity to complex international organization.
