Loyalty cards are a brilliant thing, but even more so if you are a reseller. Loyalty cards are of course great if you want a free coffee every 6 cups or so. However I started to realise a while ago that they can be used even more effectively for reselling purposes.
The simple thinking is that you get a Loyalty card for whichever store you maybe thinking of buying items to resell from on a regular basis, in my case this is LEGO. I have been doing retail arbitrage at the LEGO store and online for sometime and so I got a VIP card this allows me to collect points that I can spend on a LEGO set when I have amassed enough points, then I will sell that set for whatever the current value is and receive a extra bit of income I can offset against the cost of any previous purchases.
This can be done at main different stores as most have a loyalty points type system that you can use to start collecting points with and then essentially later down the road get something for free to either resell or keep (you don't necessarily have to resell it). The good thing about LEGO is as well as been able to collect points you sometimes can get access to card holders offers, promotions and small freebies.
BONUS FACT: If you shop online for items to resell, it maybe worthwhile checking out top cash back as if you purchase items through their links at no extra cost to you. You can actually receive a percentage of the sale back, usually 1-3% but sometimes more. Definitely worth it if you buy a lot of items online.
As always the video is down below if you would like to hear me talk more about this :)
