At some point Birthday's just stop being fun.
I think you know what I am talking about right?
When you are little, you literally wait 364 days until your birthday next year. It's all you can think about just about every day going forward.
You spend your nights dreaming about all the cool presents you are going to get and also all the cool places where you are going to have your party.
Also, you dream about how much fun you are going to have with all your friends.
It's basically like Christmas, but better, because it is all about you.

However, at some point that all begins to change....
Not sure on the exact age, but at some point, birthday's no longer bring as much joy as they once did.
First you stop getting gifts from so many people.
Next you stop having so many people at your birthday parties.
Finally, you stop having them at all these cool and exciting places.
Eventually, a birthday becomes nothing more just a few family members and possibly friends getting together for a bite to eat and possibly some cake.
There may be a few cards exchanged, but not much else.
Then you have the never ending thought that goes through your mind where you realize you are one year older and getting closer and closer to your final day alive.
Which of course brings inevitable thoughts of what exactly have you done with your life up to this point.
Ugh.
The joys of being a kid.
Wouldn't it be great if we could go back and experience a birthday like we did when we were 10 years old, wouldn't that be something?
It is all part of the cycle of life I guess, but I sure do miss those birthday parties at Laser Qwest and Peter Piper Pizza!
What about you?
