As we know, dark chocolate has awesome health benefits. It may taste a little bit bitter but a little bitterness goes a long way. It is well-known fact that dark chocolates consist of flavonoids that help you to improve your health. So, a better way to enhance your health is to include dark chocolate into your daily routine. I usually put a little bit of it into my oatmeal or smoothies.
To understand whether dark chocolate has an ability to reduce stress, a team of researchers who belong to Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center performed an experiment that is never done before. This experiment examined the effect of consumption of dark chocolate on specific areas such as cognition and other brain functions. They studied how cocoa impacts the human brain, thereby how it supports cognitive, endocrine and cardiovascular health. The results are shown below.
"This is the first time that we have looked at the impact of large amounts of cacao in doses as small as a regular-sized chocolate bar in humans over short or long periods of time, and are encouraged by the findings. These studies show us that the higher the concentration of cacao, the more positive the impact on cognition, memory, mood, immunity and other beneficial effects."

The main identification is the flavonoids that can be seen in dark chocolate are high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, which improves your brain as well as your cardiovascular health, and the study strictly stated that dark chocolate which has a minimum of 70% of cocoa should only be considered in order to get these amazing benefits which can influence neuroplasticity for behavioral and brain health benefits. Few technical information is given below, and the information is from the research.
Study findings show cacao consumption up-regulates multiple intracellular signalling pathways involved in T-cell activation, cellular immune response and genes involved in neural signalling and sensory perception -- the latter potentially associated with the phenomena of brain hyperplasticity.

However, researchers say that they require more information to prove the impact of dark chocolate on immune cells and the brain. They also stated that the link between consumption of dark chocolate and improvement in cognitive skills are being investigated.
