Happy Lord's Day and I hope we had a wonderful day in God's presence...
I love the fact that I have been coming across MCGI topics that has to do with the sermon I listened to in service and it ends up making me reflect more on the teachings and the lessons I learned.
God wants us to pray, pray and still pray till our joy is filled and that's why he said it in the scripture that up till now we've not asked for one thing because he has the might and power to bring everything we do desire to our footstep with no drop of sweat.
Our Lord Jesus Christ went ahead in the book of Matthew to teach us how to pray so that we won't pray amiss but there's one thing that boost prayers in getting to the ears of God anyways and that is FAITH.
Faith is like a fuel that supports our prayers to rise to the throne of the father. Tell me how you wanna communicate with someone so far away when you don't have a microphone or megaphone. There will be a breach in communication because we can't be heard until we go through the proper channel.
Without faith, our prayers are like wasted mouth and saliva efforts. While we pray, we must be expectant of what we ask for and the work of faith just like it was elaborated in the book of Hebrews that "faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen".
Just like the widow in jairu had faith and her child was raised back to life, or the woman with issue of blood for 12 whole year and just by faith, she was healed even when the multitude very close to him could not see him because they were not there with faith
Let's keep praying and let's keep our faith so strong that it can move mountains and cast away demons or evil spirit.
