Hi everyone, welcome to my first ever entry to the #foodiepomdec challenge.
I present to you one of the oldest and favorite dish from my country called "Inabraw". This dish mainly consists of green vegetable sprouts, fried fish, and fish sauce.
Preparation
Here's how it looks after
Here are the exact ingredients that I used for this dish:
- Squash/Pumpkin flowers
- Squash/Pumpkin sprouts
- Snake Bean sprouts
- Snake Beans
- Fried Fish (Tilapia or Milk Fish, you can also use fried pork as substitue in absense of fish)
- 2 tablespoon of Fish Sauce (Bagoong)
Cooking process
- Boil some water (about one glass) together with the fried fish.
- Add the fish sauce when the water starts to boil.
- Add all the ingredients.
- Boil until all ingreddients are cooked.
- Done.
Other variants of the dish
The dish has evolved over the years mainly because of the availability of certain ingredients and has many variants.
The one that I presented is one of the most popular.
I am an I.T. professional (Computer Engineer) working in a private company, a blogger, a father, and a husband.
