Hello, friends of steemit! in this opportunity I want to share with you a little about the history of origami, besides the process of elaboration of the figure of this post.
Folding a sheet of paper is also art. In such a simple act is a huge goal: to create a figure without the need to make cuts or use glue. The paper, the hands and the imagination are the resources.
Origami originated in China between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. C., while Japan arrived in the sixth century. Origami means, literally, 'folding paper' and in the beginning it was a hobby reserved only for the nobles and the rich, due to the high cost of paper.
Besides being entertaining, it has a series of health benefits, which make it a very common activity in classrooms, and it is no wonder when: it activates the right hemisphere of the brain, responsible for creativity and artistic sense, or to strengthen coordination and manual skills, help cultivate memory, relax, develop perseverance, patience, and increase self-esteem.
It is enough with a good guide, a rectangle or a square of paper, concentration and much desire.
This figure only makes sense if it is appreciated in movement. that's why I leave a gif with the final result.
I hope you enjoyed, see you later, friends!
