Meugang is a tradition preserved by the people of Aceh to this day. Meugang held during Ramadhan, Idul Fitri and Eid al-Adha, Meugang or some people call ma'meugang is to cook meat which is usually beef and buffalo, this special tradition in aceh to welcome religious day.
This tradition is very important and indispensable for the people of Aceh. This practice is fully trusted by all levels of society, both in rural and urban areas, both poor and rich, little meat must exist, even if borrowed.
Currently diaceh being meugang to welcome Idul Adha or other names diaceh uroeraya hajj, I also follow meugang tradition although only a few that I bought at the price of 1kg RP16000, I told my wife to cook with the taste that I like.
