Beautiful evening!🌷
How are you all?
I hope that you are all doing well!
This is my first time to post an article here in the ecoTrain community in my 2nd week of being here on Hive! And my first post is by joining the Season 7 Question of the week 2. #QOTW
What is your favorite ways of showing and receiving gratitude
Gratitude...is a gesture of being thankful for whatever blessing we received. I used the word blessing for the reason that everything that I received is always considered a big blessing. It doesn't matter if it's big or small…
Going to the question, What are your favorite ways to show and receive gratitude?
MY WAYS OF SHOWING GRATITUDE
I am the kind of person that I always give importance to everything I receive from anyone, be it a gift..a help..it doesn't matter if this is given as in-kind or words or simply just by receiving an appreciation. I never forget each thing I received from others, I always treasured it.
My ways are the following:
I say "Thank you..God bless you..or Have a blessed day..or God be with you,"...and I am saying it full of sincerity and silently praying that God pours blessings to that person, people, group, or even a company.
Sometimes even just for a person is simply nice with me in every way I am thankful and feeling grateful..that the need to show gratitude is a must for me..because I see them as God's instrument to make me feel good, or happy that makes me smile..the time when I feel so down or low and they were with me on that moment..those things I will always be thankful, even if the time comes that I am already away from them or can't be with them anymore I will never forget what they have done good for me and my prayers for them continue as my gratitude
Sometimes even the indirect help I have received from them aside from they are good to me, I always feel grateful
đź’•Just the other day, I have a friend here that I always admired for her skills and thoughts, then at that particular time. I need to make a big decision and I was bothered and I didn't know whom I will ask for advice..her one article helped me to balance my thoughts..and confidently made that decision and I will always be grateful to her, because her words save a life in a way, so I will be always a true and sincere friend to her..she will always be in my prayers.
đź’•Another sweet woman here, that always makes me feel confident and laughing, she is dear with a generous heart to everyone who knows her well, full of courage so admirable and I'm very much grateful to her and my full support is always with her and she will always be in my prayers too as my way of showing gratitude.>
đź’•For the people who are near with me..and have a place in my heart like my loved ones, or family that I consider as my great motivator..my ways of showing them my gratitude is by making personalized handmade gifts for them or when I cook something good or even just an ordinary dish I shared with them, even if a person or people did something good for me only once, this will remain in my heart always without malice and being sincere with them is also my way of showing gratitude to them>
Maybe I will only forget the help I have received from a person or people if they did something so bad against me that is so hard to accept.Aha.I could easily forgive but that causes me to avoid and forget them as being part of my life...but I never store grudges or hatred in my heart and mind..in that particular situation, gratitude is still there but will show it to God, not to them...grateful that he has given me a lesson that I could be used in moving forward in my life without the people who did unreasonable bad things with me..and my way of gratitude for the good things they did to me in the past is by praying for them.
Another way that I do is..by helping them in time they need help..not always financially but in other ways too.
đź’•One instance: This happened yesterday only, my Mom needs a blood transfusion, unfortunately, no available bloodstock in that hospital for Mom's blood group type...the Utility woman offered to donate her blood via direct transfusion, in short, that woman saved my Mom's life in that very moment..and to show my simplest gratitude to her I bought some things and food stuffs for her family consumption today and I also mentioned it to my siblings and each of them sends some amount for that woman..and whatever helps my family gave to her will never be enough because she saved our Moms life and the time element is what matters the most..the time we need the help and she offered it voluntarily...is priceless!
Sometimes my way of giving gratitude is by being sincere and true to them..some call me so naive and gullible because I don't see the negative side of people and always being good with them even some saying they are bad or other negative things about them..but they are wrong hehe I am not naive or gullible, it's only because I'm, not a judgemental person, whatever mistakes they did before is not my concern as long as they did not do it to me, but, of course, I also know when to stay and when to leave or to fight if necessary to defend myself or the others..one way of showing my gratitude is when sometimes I find myself fighting or defending for someone's right and welfare…
đź’•And most of all..my way of showing gratitude to God, it's never-ending. I show it by doing good deeds. I am not perfect or an angel but I know how to live my life rightfully..and follow Godly rules..aside from directly saying " thank you in my prayer..because with God our actions and thoughts are more important and I think it is the perfect way of showing gratitude to Him!
There are more ways to show gratitude that are so many to mention because gratitude is a good deed..and I believe that a good deed is always overflowing if we only give importance to it.
❤Express gratitude, this will give you peace of mind, a loving heart, and a happy soul!
MY WAYS OF RECEIVING GRATITUDE
Hehe..sometimes I feel shy about receiving gratitude when people or people saying " "Thank you" or showing gratitude to me...I usually say "Never mind``'' It's nothing" or "no need to mention.."
When I give help or gift or anything, I never expect something in return..because many times I give help secretly for the reason that I don't want to make the person feel embarrassed or shy..but surely most people also think the same way like me so they express their gratitude too hehehe.
Some gave gifts not directly to me but for my family..and when I accepted them in any form of gratitude, let say I received a cake or any kind of food, usually,
I received from the Orphanage Institute that I am supporting with..they always send flowers or any thank you card every month every time I give my regular support, and I feel happy but I am not comfortable and I dont like that because I gave the things as gift and help voluntarily so what I am going to do the next day I will visit there again and bring some simple food as my way to return back what they have given to me..because I don't want them to think that I am expecting something in return hehehe..hmm a give and take..gesture is what they were doing as part of their gratitude but they dont need to do that the children need it more..A sincere "Thank you!"is enough for me..
❤It feels good to receive gratitude from people we helped before but for me, the best feeling ever is to show and give gratitude.
I hope you like it!
Please take care
Always keep and wear a beautiful smile.
I hope you do your stuff well today!..
Have a blessed day!❤
GOD LOVE US ALL!❤
