As promised, I am here with my first anime watercolor painting which I had also mentioned in one of my earlier posts.So, this I decided to make in my sketchbook rather than a loose sheet. But I soon realised it was a mistake as the effect that I wanted to achieve would have been much easier to achieve on an actual watercolor sheet.
Anyway, there are about 3 layers in this one which are comparatively less from the actual digital illustration. But the good part is that now I exactly know what kind of paper is required for the next ones. I really enjoyed making this as it revived some memories from my school years when I used to sit for hours and sketch the characters from Card Captor Sakura <3
I used Crimson for the sakura tree and a mix of Cobalt Blue Hue with Black for the outfit. The finishing was done with my favourite Parker pen. Hope you guys like it!
P.S- The paper was still wobbly while I was clicking the pictures. :P
