Meugang is a tradition which is held by Acehnese for welcoming Ramadhan. I myself do not know what the clear meaning of meugang is or from where the name is adopted but from the practice of it we can taking point, Meaugang is the tradition when all people prepare everything in this term food suply for having fasting in Ramadhan. Meugang itself is held when 2 days before turning Ramadhan. There are so many people go to market around their house to buy meat. Not only so many buyers of meat, but at that time, also so many people who sell their meat to the other. The seller of meat at Meaugang day is never seen in the other days. It means, they just sell their meat just only when Meaugang day comes.
