It's 1st day of March now and it's snowing in the whole region. We thought of dining in since we're both tired from work and the kids are hungry as well. We tried Wok Sushi located in Corso Milano in Verona.
I ordered Xiaolongbao for soup since it's really cold outside, Spring rolls with sweet chili sauce, sweet and sour shrimps and fried rice.Photo is mine.
Xiaolongbao is a type of Chinese steamed bun (baozi) from the Jiangnan region, especially associated with Shanghai and Wuxi. It is traditionally prepared in xiaolong, small bamboo steaming baskets, which give them their name. Xiaolongbao are often referred to as a kind of "dumpling", but should not be confused with British or American-style dumplings, nor with Chinese jiaozi. Similarly, they are considered a kind of "soup dumpling" but should not be confused with other larger varieties of tang bao. In Shanghainese, they are also sometimes known as siaulon moedeu or xiaolong-style mantous. Source
It's a challenge for me to eat Xiaolongbao or else I'll get messy.(its my first time to try).
The food is really good and the price is just right. ๐
