Hi Brethren,
I want to contribute to the topic titled *"What was Jesus Christ's Job?
When Jesus Christ grew up, what was his accupation?
Is he like other ordinary people of his generation?
Mark 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the Brother of James and John, and of Judah and Simon? And are not his Sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Of course, they judged our LORD Jesus Christ not by his teachings but by his family back ground.
They are very much like other people that judged people. So, Jesus Christ was a carpenter and why was he a carpenter?
His foster father, Joseph was a carpenter and Jesus continued the trade of his father. As at the time He started preaching. Joseph was dead and the trade was given to Jesus Christ.
Since Joseph was no more around. Jesus was the one being referred to as Is this not the carpenter seeing him as an ordinary person who lived among them in Jewish community.
Jesus lived a normal life like everybody but when He started preaching the words of God and performing all the miracles recorded in the bible.
Then, people relaxed He is not an ordinary man but during the first years of his life he was just referred to as just anybody else in the community.
However, the WISDOM acquired here is that;
We should not underrate anybody.
God can take strange dimensions to choose and use anybody that pleases HIM.
We can learn from both the Living and non- living things.
We really need to pray for the gifts of discernment to really see great opportunity, glory and the power of God upon and around us.
Thanks for reading 🤝
God bless you all.
