Yesterday we went fishing for silver salmon. This is the same place we got raspberries. I found out something cool, because it’s on the west side we can use bait! Yes! Score!
So we parked the car and started out on the long trail.
We have to down this winding and twisting trail that’s at least a 100 foot down.
We finally made it to the bottom. There was one other person there, but as soon as he seen/heard us he left.
The kids love to fish so they get excited, but then calm down. I guess the old man forgot what it was like. 😒
Anyways I got the kids set up.
We fished for a few, but the rain started to pick up worse. We didn’t catch anything, but the kids didn’t complain! Yes! So awesome we made progress, that is one thing kids have to work to understand is disappointment. Fishing teaches that.💗
We did see four woodland ducks.
Every time we tried to get good photos they would paddle out, then come back when we left. So this is all I could get.
Edited to add something I forgot: On the trail back to the car we seen a roughed grouse. Of corse I didn’t have a .22 with me.😒 We would just have to come back later. We did and it was gone of corse.
After we left here we went hunting, but that will be a different post with trail photos, lots of very large puddles but we didn’t leave empty handed. Stay tuned I write it up shortly.
