Hello, My name is Alex, and I am a 14 year old Steemian who is striving for a better life. If you don't know me already, or don't know what i'm about, I love silver investing, steemit, and cryptocurrencies. I don't do much with cryptocurrencies now, although I invest a little here and there, but I am hoping to get more serious with it soon in the future.
My 8th grade graduation and going to highschool.
Here are some pics of the graduation ceremonoy for 8th grade, and some of my friends, and other wierdos.
So recently, If you don't already know, I've graduated the 8th grade, and I am currently a freshman in highschool (9th grade). I was kind of scared of going to highschool at the beginning, but after getting used to it more and more, it really isn't that bad. It is just a bigger version of middle school with more and older people, and yes, more idiotic people as well. That's life.
It seems like a lot of the friends we had last year aren't really our friends this year and that we are finding new friends. I guess that is all part of life. But what is cool is I actually have met my old friend from 7th grade this year, and I haven't seen him for quite a while. He is a nice dude who went to school with me in a bad school, and was one of the few ghetto or thuggish kids at the school. And it is quite a pleasure to be able to have classes with him this year and hang out with him. I do still hang out with a few select friend from last year as well.
It seems as if this 9th grade year won't be too hard. The biology honors class syllabus shows that we are going to be learning stuff that I am very familiar with and have learned for the most part in 7th grade. Same for my math class as well, it seems like pretty much the same stuff as last year. So, I don't think things are going to be too difficult, hopefully not. I might forget a few things from the past, but i'll pick them back up and do well with the subjects this year. I just need a refresher. But overall, things in highschool don't seem too bad. I mainly just stick to myself and hangout with the very few friends I have and play basketball. So that is my school life.
My views on steemit and life.
I think Steemit really has a bright future coming ahead. Although there are a few "problems" that I believe are hurting the platform, I think we should be able to push forward and make this platform more and more mainstream, and hopefully Steem will go up in price. I think the things that need to be improved with there need to be a limitation with self voting and I think something needs to be done about all of the fricken spammers and spam bots. But I really do think steemit does have a very bright future.
Steemit is truly amazing, I have grown so much in such a little amount of time, and I just want to say thank you to all of my supporters and followers who have pushed me to grow so much in a short amount of time, and I want to say thanks to my parents for supporting me as well. It is awesome having parents who are familiar with cryptocurrencies, steemit, and life in general, because trust me, a lot of aprents out there are very oblivious and don't know what is going on in the world, and have barely graduated highschool. Which is a sad thing, but is a very common thing. And a lot of parents don't know these things, so they can't teach it to their kids, so the kids have to go out and make a living by finding things out for themselves because their parents didn't have much education, with that being said; I am gratefull for having knowledgeable parents who know what they are doing in life. Most people are lost.
I think with steemit, the key to growth is exposure and connections with the right people. If you have plety of both, you'll do just fine, but it's not about the money. (Although the money does help, and without the money you earn on the posts, you won't grow, so yes, the money does in fact matter.)
I am hoping after I save up enough money to get my first phone that I will be able to use my Jaxx wallet and start seriously investing in cyrptos. My goal is to retire at an early age and support my family, because if you don't already know, me and my family are in a tight spot, and I am not going to go into details about that right now. But I do feel this whole steemit and cryptocurrency thing may be our ticket to financial freedom. It really matters how you play it as well.
I am hoping to get a scholarship to a college and maybe major in something in computer science, or something computer related. It is good to learn about computers and our technology because it truly is taking over and if you don't know much about it, you will be left behind in the dirt. That is why it's good to know about cryptocurrencies and invest in them. But like I said, I am probably going to major something in computer science because that is honestly where I see the future going and it is something I don't mind doing. But, I don't really want to rely on a job for it, as I want to make my money from investing in cryprocurrencies, but at first I will probably have to get a job. We'll see how things go.
My thoughts on silver investing.
I think not to far ahead in the future, something will happen with silver, and I beleive it will go up, because to be honest, it is pretty undervalued. What I like about it is that it is a physical investment and is something you can hold, and there is a need for it in the world. We use it in so many things around the world, and there is only so much of it in the world. I try to invest in it when I can and I am just HODL'ing silver. It is something that for now I am just holding onto until we see some bigger changes in the market. We'll see how things go.
