Blue

Feliz fin de semana comunidad. Hoy quise plasmar un poco mi estado de animo de estas ultimas semanas, aunque intento estar fuerte ha sido difícil entre tantas cosas que pasan en el día a día, pero aun asi he conseguido la manera de drenar estos sentimientos y por eso cree esta obra llamada “blue” el azul es uno de los colores que mas me gusta me trae paz y sentimientos de nostalgia, además se relaciona bastante con el sentimiento de “feeling blue” o sea: sentirse triste, por eso decidí hacer todo con una paleta de este color, pero combinándolo con algunos morados y rosas para darle ese contraste diferente en algunas zonas del rostro. Today I wanted to capture a little bit my mood of these last weeks, although I try to be strong it has been difficult between so many things that happen in the day to day, but even so I have managed to drain these feelings and that is why I created this work called "blue" blue is one of the colors that I like most brings me peace and feelings of nostalgia, also is quite related to the feeling of "feeling blue" in other words: feeling sad, so I decided to do everything with a palette of this color, but combining it with some purple and pink to give that different contrast in some areas of the face.

Al principio hice mi boceto de un retrato con cabello corto, pero no me convencía del todo, igualmente lo dejé y decidí cambiarlo mas adelante, ubique los colores que quería utilizar los cuales eran azules, lilas, morados y rosas, cree una nueva capa donde coloque aun mas tonos con un pincel mas duro para darle la forma completamente al rostro, luego mezcle todos los colores para dejar una piel suave, pinte el cabello con un azul oscuro cambiando la forma del boceto que había realizado.

At first I made my sketch of a portrait with short hair, but I was not completely convinced, I left it anyway and decided to change it later, I placed the colors I wanted to use which were blue, lilac, purple and pink, I created a new layer where I placed even more tones with a harder brush to give the shape completely to the face, then mix all the colors to leave a soft skin, paint the hair with a dark blue changing the shape of the sketch I had done.

Agregue luces y sombras en el cabello para darle una mejor forma y luego termine de pintar el cuello y parte del pecho visible, quise añadir más color al rostro para darle mas realismo a la expresión de llanto, también dibuje pequeñas lagrimas cayendo por las mejillas, pinté la ropa con azul oscuro y luego comencé a añadir luces y sombras para crear los pliegues de la tela, elegí un fondo colorido asi que coloque un azul claro, se me ocurrió colocar una herida en la frente y pensé en que me gustan los efectos que parecen rotos, grietas, etc, asi que hice un hueco en el centro de la frente y algunas líneas rodeando, para darle mas realismo y volumen, puse luces y sombras alrededor de las grietas, finalmente aplique algunas luces y realice una leve edición de la imagen dándole un poco mas de profundidad a todo.

I added lights and shadows on the hair to give it a better shape and then I finished painting the neck and part of the visible chest, I wanted to add more color to the face to give more realism to the crying expression, I also drew small tears falling down the cheeks, I painted the clothes with dark blue and then I started to add lights and shadows to create the folds of the fabric, I chose a colorful background so I placed a light blue, I thought of placing a wound on the forehead and I thought that I like the effects that look like broken, cracks, etc, so I made a hole in the center of the forehead and some lines around it, to give it more realism and volume I put lights and shadows around the cracks, finally I applied some lights and made a slight editing of the image giving it a little more depth to everything.
