Today I want to show you again Kos, my Greek favorite little island.

heute möchte ich euch wieder Kos, mein griechisches Lieblingsinselchen zeigen.
After our hotel in Psalidi closed in order to be completely refurbished, we looked for a new accommodation: The Hotel Mastichari Bay in Mastichari, a village in the middle of the island, right on the sea. Mastichari is an idyllic, small place and the hotel is located on the outskirts.
Nachdem unser Hotel in Psalidi schloss, um kernsaniert zu werden, haben wir uns eine neue Unterkunft gesucht: Das Hotel Mastichari Bay in Mastichari , einem Dorf in der Mitte der Insel gelegen, direkt am Meer. Mastichari ist ein idyllischer, kleiner Ort und das Hotel liegt am Ortsanfang.
In the village itself there are many taverns, small shops and life is still very contemplative. Our favorite tavern "Kali Kardia" (good heart, what a great name) has a beautiful view of the small port of Mastichari and you can see the ferries from Kalymnos coming and going.
There is still typical Greek food and traditional hospitality. In the evening we often sat until the end in the "Kali Kardia" and it was always very nice.
Im Dorf selbst gibt es viele Tavernen, kleine Läden und das Leben ist noch sehr beschaulich. Unsere Lieblingstaverne "Kali Kardia" ( gutes Herz, was für ein toller Name) hat einen schönen Blick auf den kleinen Hafen von Mastichari und man sieht die Fähren von Kalymnos kommen und abfahren.
Hier gibt es noch typisch griechisches Essen und traditionelle Gastfreundschaft. Abends saßen wir oft bis zum Schluss im "Kali Kardia" und es war immer sehr schön.
If you visit the island of Kos, I really recommend this oldest tavern of Mastichari.
Falls ihr mal die Insel Kos besucht, empfehle ich wirklich diese älteste Taverne von Mastichari.
