The army is the place that is commonly associated with strict discipline, sweat, blood, brutality, swearing – all of the attributes of masculinity. However, there is a place for beauty even in such tough places. I wouldn't say that it is a tender beauty, because there is nothing tender about the military. This is a protective beauty, because this beauty does not serve the glamour magazines, it serves to protect the country.
