I was hoping that the follow4follow craze would stop after the June. It didn’t. We still have them.😝
There is also this evolved species, called tipser. The ones who send you 0.001 SBD and upvote you with less than this. The worse are the ones who post but don’t even do the actions.
Some don’t post the traditional check me (I’m not an airport security officer to check you), but some other text that might on the first sight be interesting but if read it just show that it does not have any relation to your post. Then if you go to that profile you see the amount of spam that account does with the same text, just to get some follower. Followers that just follow you because you follow them are worthless.
What I recommend is, if you like someone posting, just follow him and interact with his posts. Post valuable comments, and no, your link there, is not a valuable comment even if you have 2 cents in potential rewards. Don’t follow everyone that follows you (was one of my many mistakes on SteemIt), be picky in the following. 😎
Check though your followers on a schedule, as you might find some real good accounts.

On the long term you will have less people whom you follow then followers, if it is done natural. And from the followers many shall be the ones who follow you. Don’t mind about the unfollows, it is their choice and mostly they don’t provide value to you.

Es gibt auch diese entwickelte Spammer Spezies, genannt der Tipser. Der Tipser ist derjenige, die dir 0,001 SBD schickt und dich mit weniger als das upvotet. Die schlimmsten sind diejenigen, die das nur posten, aber nicht mal die Aktion durchführen.
Manche sangen nicht das traditionelle check mich (ich bin doch kein Flughafen-Sicherheitsbeamter, um dich zu überprüfen), sondern ein anderer Text, der auf den ersten Blick interessant sein könnte, aber wenn es gelesen wird, zeigt es einfach, dass es keine Beziehung zu dem Post hat. Dann, wenn man zum diesem Profil geht, sieht man die Menge an Spam, die dieses Konto gemacht hat, nur um einige Follower zu bekommen. Follower, die dir folgen, weil du auch die folgst, sind wertlos.
Was ich empfehle, ist, wenn man jenes Profil findet das man mag, verfolge es und mit dieser Person einfach interagieren unter den Beiträgen. Poste wertvolle Kommentare, und nein, einfach ein Link reinzuwerfen ist nicht ein wertvoller Kommentar, auch wenn dieser 2 Cent in potenziellen Belohnungen hat. Folge nicht jedem, der dir folgt (war einer meiner vielen Fehler auf SteemIt), sei wählerisch.😎
Man sollte ab und zu nach einem gewissen Zeitplan, die eigene Follower verfolgen, weil man einige echte gute Konten finden könnte.

Auf lange Sicht wird man weniger Leute haben, die man folgt, als die die folgen, wenn das Wachstum natürlich gewesen ist. Und von den Followern werden viele sein die dich nicht mehr verfolgen werden. Das sollte man niemanden stören und meistens sind diese auch ohne Wert für das eigene Konto.
