Small set with North California's own Asami Suicide (https://www.instagram.com/asami.hime/) in the hills of the Tiburon peninsula. NorCal outdoors can be challenging to work with in summer, as they're mostly charred and desiccated hillsides that looks about the same no matter where you go.
As a photographer you're inevitably forced to think of ways to keep things fresh despite the environment being always similar. Stumbling upon a patch of taller grass and having the sun set with its rays right through it worked quite nicely.
