When his resignation was announced on Tuesday there was wide jubilation on the Street off Harare. The long awaited time has come.
They wanted him out, now he is out what next for the people of Zimbabwe.
It's not about kicking him out but they should as a matter of priority try to reform the country to make it democratic.
The country's system is far from being democratic.
The despotic foundation laid by Robert Mugabe should be erased, and replaced with the rule of law and economic development.
They should be cautious of how they do business with China, Brittain, USA and Western countries.
Though, to me the choice of the vice president as successor to the disgraced Mugabe is an odd one.
Mugabe and those who have worked with should be removed from office as a preventive measure against having another tyrant taking over.
