Hello guys, hope you are doing good!!
Last time, you saw that I went back to Haven from “Investigating The Shards” mission to sell the items required to be cleared off from the storage.
Previous episode’s link .
This part is a long one. And yes, I did farm a bit. Only because I found a supposed rare stone called Blue Vitrol. I found it in the other areas but in minute amounts and thought it was a super rare stone or something. Apparently, they are abundant here in dark part of Ferelden. The one thing in my mind was,”Just get this done ASAP”.
Had to pull a on the road XD.
This Episode
It took 20 minutes for me to sell the valuables and craft the items that I had wanted. I have reached the spot where I want to sell the useless junk but wouldn’t because of ”you never know,” thing. I crafted so heavy boots but they were not worn by the Qunari. The requirements for the boots were to have a heavy armour on. I had a heavy armour on and yet it didn’t equip. I was saddened and frustrated at that. Now, I seek to find a storage where I can store my junk. I crafted upgrades for my weapons but only a few of them took in the parts.
I the left the blacksmith and was on the way to the war council table. I saw Cullen and couldn’t resist the urge to make some convo. I asked if he had anyone or did he leave anyone behind. He said no. The game had an option where I could’ve asked if he would see himself with the Qunari… I was like
The game was ahead of its time or smth as I didn’t expect that option to be there.
I spotted Leliana by her tent. I moved in for another fruitful convo only to hear that a spy killer was found out. She gave orders to finish the guy off. The Herald asked her to stop that command and only apprehend the accused, we had to rise above the enemies. Taking a page out of Batman’s books here.
Back at the War Council Table.
• “Varrick’s revenge” was complete and we received a ring of power. Even though the rarity is rare I have load of them.
• The Teyrn Of Highever. The people welcomed Cullen’s forces and gave them Ferelden swords, low tier stuff so I sold them later😅.
• “Address a nobleman’s concerns” was completed thanks to the Ambassador lady.
I assigned more tasks to the generals.
• “Red Jenny Requires More Bees” to Cullen.
• Building Watchtowers to Josephine.
• Then I sent a scout to this place where a bunch of our members were missing.
The shards were a thing for later as I had a new task at hand. I did want to continue the shard collection but let’s face it: it’s boring as hell. Trekking mountains and getting a little thing out of the dirt. The same thing over and over and then the main stuff comes out. Too much mundane stuff.
I reached the place of the disappearance. A scout reported that our Inquisition members were held hostage by the Avvar. The local barbarians of the land.
The Avvar we’re brutes who saw educated men as something laughable, and wanted to challenge the great Herald of Andrasté.
Fame can only give you so much… they also wanted to see whose god was better. The maker, who would look after his prophet or that of the Avvar.
I was also asked by the scout if I was afraid of the undead. The Qunari said that they were merely corpses with possessed spirits. That’s not how it works right, all the movies 🎥 tell me different. I really thought that there were zombies but no, typical enemies with poison imbued in their arrows.
There was a beacon that had to be lighted in order to connect the runes. Naturally the undead followed it. Had to defend the place. Took me a long while to finished the 4 pillars as the enemies were getting tougher, the lizard men showed up other undead types. The route became more freer of the undead after this. No intrusion, no unexpected attack.
Another cool aspect, when traversing a river I observed how the Zombies sprung up with their bows and arrows at the ready, each duo at a different side of the lake. This made it more difficult. Died once like this, prettt pathetic. The undead were fighting with the hippos.
I found a cabin in the woods 😈. The key was spotted luckily. I was scanning the area for potential blood lotus(very important item) through the shoreline.
- It became a habit then as the environment was so dark and ghastly. The rain and an eerie theme in the background made it extra haunting.
By the cabin is banned for items nearby and found the key outside the cabin.
There were spirits too. Made the theme perfect. It was fun to see that you could freeze spirits XD.
I found a fellow countryman, an Avvar. This one didn’t attack me, rather he helped my seal a rift.
When asked about this behaviour he said that he was no warrior, merely a cleaner. He cleaned up the pile of bodies that would be left behind after a battle. He cleared that he was not threat and that the Chieftain’s son was the one who wanted to fight.
Found more resources along the way and found some hippos for the skins.
After closing all the rifts, securing the beacons and joining the runes I headed for the Wildris, he bad mage.
Mages are badass, they pull stuff out of the area and make necessary things like how Solas makes a bridge to cross in this high mountain at the shard investigating land, making fire in an awesome way, and removing obstacles from the way.
After the mage I went straight for the Castle where the Inquisition members were held. There were human enemies along the way who maybe had allegiance with this Avvar.
Outside the castle was a bunch of Undead. The Herald commanded that we enter the castle and not fight. Inside were archers at the ready.
We cleared the place and activated the door mechanism to open the gates to the inside.
The battle with the Avvar was a pretty straight forward one. I used Varrick to eliminate the 2 supporting enemy archers and then finally their boss. Got some decent items. Alas, this was where my storage capacity hit maximum.
Outside the chamber, the good Avvar stood. The one who had helped previously at the rift portal.
He didn’t retaliate at the news of their leader’s son’s demise. He said some real NPC shit, how he was brought out there by the will of the maker to witness this and was sit all a coincidence or the planning of their maker. He was recruited by the Herald there.
So yeah, I think I have another tank now.
I had to return back to Haven. I got the market and sold stuff that I didn’t need and headed straight to the War Council.
The following report of the members:
- The Watchtowers were built
- The Jar of bees grenade was acquired thought the “Red Jenny needs bees”.
- Coins were gathered
I set them for more tasks as Orlais:
• Red Jenny says “Drop and grab”.
• Truth or Dare: The Imperial Court
• The Chantry Remains
I didn’t head to anywhere as of now.
Enjoy the gameplay!
