#456 - A trip to a waterfalls.
Happy Sunday evening my fellow Hiveans. How is your weekend going? I just slept it all through the entire afternoon after we did s 6kms o walking together with my wife. I think it's better to just rest on our rest days instead of going out and spending, resting at home give us savings😊.
For our photos today, let me share shots when we went to an overnight stay in s rural area of mountain province. My wife only found it online as a good place to trek and unwind so we prepared to go there for months. After arriving at the center of the province which is Bontoc, we still have to ride a jeep going to this rural place and the trip is about two hours or less depending on the road condition. We arrived before noon and ate lunch served also by the house we were staying.
After our lunch, the guide from their local tourism arrived and we first went to a small hall to register our name and took off for another two hours of trek going to the waterfalls. Here is s photo of the falls with the wife posing, we were tired because of the relentless walking but it was worth it seeing this view. We didn't swim because we got cameras and the even if you are still distant from the falls, there is a wet fog that is produced from the water coming from the top of the mountain so as you get closer by 30 meter away you can fill getting wet in the face and all over. So didn't get as much close to it as we didn't have any swim wear.
I just took more photos of the surrounding area. Here is the stream of water coming from the falls, there are too many big boulders of rocks too in this stream.
You can see how big this water fall is, the pine trees from the mountain are like small twigs in comparison.
According to the guide there is also a way going up to the top of the mountain to see where the water are coming from but its already getting late and we have to walk back for another two hours to get back and it could be dark already so we will just comeback here one day to see that. The only question is when because since everything is getting expensive already we have to be as thrift as possible to save.
