Today I take you to Bilbao one of the most wonderful cities in the north of Spain the largest city in the province of Biscay and in the Basque Country as a whole. Bilbao inspires with a very modern architecture as well as a charming old town.

This church was opened in 1756, thirteen years after construction began under the direction of master builder Loyola Ignacio Ibero. An original design a church in the form of a Greek cross on a square, covered by a dome.
Besides the variety of traditional pintxos fine skewers, we experience here a modern city that is worth discovering.
Plaza Nueva is the most important meeting point in the city and one of the best places to eat pintxos in Bilbao. It also has such interesting curiosities as the fact that in the 19th century it was filled with water and gondolas to honor the visit of an Italian king.
