This isn't really a post, it's more of a question to the community.
Would anyone be interested if I posted Dungeons & Dragons content in here ? I'm thinking in terms of dungeons and adventures I've run, as well as background material, NPC's, customised monsters etc. that could be imported into readers' own worlds.
It would naturally incorporate some things from the published rules, but the intention is not to treat on copyright toes; I see it as inevitable that things written for a D&D game are going to have to be compatible with the rules (e.g. using standard monsters, spells etc from the game).
I've been running a homebrew world for around 40 years now, so I've got a vast amount of background material, lore, adventures etc. It started off as AD&D, then 2nd Edition. More recently I've been running a mix of 3.5 and 5th Edition. Having two different rulesets in operation simultaneously for different groups of players isn't too bad as long as they are in different bits of the world and never meet ! Most of the background material is descriptive and fluffy, for example, some key NPC's are just described as "always 5 levels higher than the party".
Putting some of this world out to a wider audience feels like a nice thing to do, and could come in useful if you want to incorporate it into your own games. Plus I'll be honest if people like it, it's good for my ego ! Or if people don't like it, it's a good way to gain constructive criticism so I can improve what I'm creating.
What do you think ?
