I like zoo's but they're not my thing. For me, its kind of sad too see some of the animals "trapped" in there. Its cool to see animals that you don't see often like tigers, lions, bears, but they should be out in the wild where they are supposed to be.
The day we went to the zoo was a bit rainy, we also had an hour to look around before closing time. We actually didn't know they closed so soon until we were there, so we needed to go quick. A lot of the zoo was under construction like most of the city, and most of the animals were hiding too.
I didn't pick the right shoes to walk in, we had to walk kinda fast so my sock kept coming off and I had to keep stopping which made me a little frustrated lol. We didn't get too see everything before it was time to leave. We were actually there after it closed, among other people. I guess they didn't mind some of us hanging a bit later then closing time. We stayed 30 minutes past closing time, so we got to see some of the animals fed.
My favorite animals to see was the wolves, a baby kangaroo, lions, giraffes, and penguins. They are so cute. My least favorite animals are monkeys and snakes. I do not like monkeys, I think they are so creepy. I really don't know why.
Snakes are scary and I would never own one as a pet like some people do. Never, ever, ever.
I'm not sure I would spend the money on a zoo again, but my husband and I did like to walk around and seeing the animals.
Oh, and today was my 21st birthday. I had my first ever margarita and it was quite good! I had a really good day, spending time with my husband and family. My sister made an amazing dinner (borscht) and heavenly dessert (cheesecake)! It was delicious!
