You are about to meet the most beautiful animals that caught my attention during my visit to the Caricuao Zoo. This zoo is the largest in the city of Caracas (I will tell you in advance that I was extremely tired after this tour).
Last Sunday we went on this adventure with the family, since the holidays started I had planned this day. The last time we visited the zoo was 10 years ago, my little Amelie was not yet born and Isaac, the youngest of the boys, was very small.
I regret having let so much time go by, because for children, the illusion of the zoo is very big. In my case, the animals that caught my attention the most were the big cats.
I have to admit that these animals, and in general all the animals in the zoo, were very beautiful and active, you can tell that they have put love into them because they are so well cared for and plump.
It is difficult to see animals being active in a zoo and that is something I loved about this experience, especially the jaguar cubs who were very playful.
But also the tiger was active and in the case of the lions it was impressive to see such a big lioness, she was huge, this lioness had just been weaned from her two cubs.
_The hippo was quite a spectacle as even the children were allowed to watch him closely. The keeper explained to us that he does not allow adults into the safety zone because adults are disobedient, they do not listen to him, they always want to break the rules and children do not. _
The idea is that the children can enjoy their experience without the annoyance of parents constantly telling them to smile for the camera. But these two girls looked so cute that the supervisor called a representative to take their picture. Lucky us!

This sweet little Irish dwarf cow got into my heart and let me touch her a lot, she was warm and very shiny and clean her coat. I adore this little cow.
I really want to go back to the zoo and say hello to these sweet little animals again, although they were all so tired that I don't know who would want to go with me so soon, I would be happy if I could go at least once a month, for me it was a walk full of energy, illusion, sensitivity, fun.
If you go, enjoy every bird you meet, and I must tell you something else, because I'd be a bad person if I didn't: be very careful with your food when you're near the capuchin monkeys that live freely in the park. That is all I have to say.
Mi divertida visita al Zoológico de Caricuao
Están a punto de conocer los animalitos más hermosos que captaron mi atención en mi visita al zoológico de Caricuao. Este zoo es el más grande de la ciudad de Caracas (adelanto de decirles que quedé extremadamente cansada después de este recorrido).
El domingo pasado nos fuimos a esta aventura con la familia, desde que comenzaron las vacaciones estaba planeando este día. La última vez que visitamos el zoo fue hace 10 años, mi pequeña Amelie no había nacido e Isaac, el menor de los varones, estaba muy pequeñito.
Me arrepiento haber dejado transcurrir tanto tiempo porque para los niños la ilusión del zoológico es muy grande. En mi caso, los animales que más capturaron mi atención fueron los grandes felinos.
Debo hacer un reconocimiento porque verdaderamente estos animales, en general todos los del zoo estaban muy bonitos y activos, se nota que les ponen amor por lo bien cuidados y gorditos que están.
Es difícil ver en un zoológico que los animales estén activos y esto es algo que me encantó de esta experiencia, sobre todo lo digo por los cachorros de jaguar que estaban muy juguetones.
Pero también el tigre estaba activo y en el caso de los leones fue impresionante ver a una leona tan grande, ¡era inmensa!, esta leona acababa de ser destetada de sus dos cachorros.
El hipopótamo fue todo un espectáculo, porque incluso a los niños le permitían pasar a observarlo de cerca. El encargado de su cuidado nos explicó que no permite la entrada de los adultos a la zona de seguridad porque los adultos son desobedientes, no le hacen caso, siempre quieren transgredir las normas y eso los niños no lo hacen.
La idea es que los niños puedan disfrutar de su experiencia sin unos papás molestosos que todo el tiempo les diga que sonrían para la cámara. Pero estas dos niñas lucían tan tiernas que por su propia cuenta el cuidador llamó a un representante para que les tomara una foto. ¡Suerte que tuvimos!
También tuvimos una anécdota muy especial en el zoológico de contacto con una cabra alpina francesa que no quería comer la zanahoria que le dábamos, pero de un momento a otro se estaba comiendo la franela de mi hija, la estaba masticando muy gustosa, por suerte no tenía dientes al parecer y a la ropa no le paso nada más que quedar muy babeada.
Esta tierna vaca enana de irlanda se metió en mi corazón y me dejó tocarla bastante, estaba calentita y muy brillante y limpio su pelaje. Adoro a esta vaquita.
Yo tengo muchas ganas de volver al Zoo y volver a saludar a estos lindos animalitos, aunque todos quedaron tan cansados que no sé quién me quiera acompañar tan pronto, sería feliz si voy al menos una vez al mes, para mí fue un paseo lleno de energía, ilusión, sensibilidad, diversión.
Si llegan a ir disfruten cada pájaro que se encuentren y debo decirles algo más porque si no sería mala persona si no se los digo: tengan mucho cuidado con su comida cuando estén cerca de los monos capuchinos que viven sueltos por el parque. No digo más.
