Everything is presented in a rushed and senseless way. The gaps are easy to spot. We know we’re dealing with a work of fiction, but there are several points that could have been developed more realistically, so that we as an audience could connect much better.
In any case, it’s clear that this is a product aimed at a younger and more superficial audience, since there are several sexual scenes, and the creators insist on making them fundamental parts of most episodes.
At least the revelation of the real villain struck me as very original, although I must say that the misdeeds associated with him could have been developed better. If they had cut down on the sex a little, maybe there would have been time to flesh out the secondary characters across the 8 episodes of the miniseries.
The casting choices for the characters at different ages could have been better too. In Oliver’s case, the differences are more evident. His teenage figure has nothing to do with his face in his early thirties. Although, I can’t deny that in terms of acting, both managed to recreate the gestures quite well.

Al principio me da la impresión de que estamos en presencia de una drama romántico entre tanta mescolanza de ambos protagonistas. El giro en el que nos damos cuenta como espectador de que ambos escondían secretos oscuros, cumple su función de hacernos querer ver más.
Sin embargo el manejo de la trama posterior me parece lamentable. El uso de flashbacks cumple con contarnos la historia y dirigir nuestro camino hacia la verdad. Pero en el presente hay una pareja de policías que va resolviendo el misterio a través de las pistas, pero sin un análisis profundo de las mismas. Ese detalle molesta, pues a unos cuantos nos gusta que nos hagan pensar un poquito más las cosas.
Todo se nos presenta de manera atropellada y sin sentido. Los vacíos son fáciles de identificar. Sabemos que estamos en presencia de un producto de ficción, pero hay varios puntos que se pudieran haber desarrollado de forma más realista, de modo que pudiéramos como audiencia conectar mucho mejor.
De todas maneras, se nota que es un producto que busca un público juvenil y más superficial, pues hay varias escenas sexuales, y se empeñan los creadores en que estas sean partes fundamentales de la mayoría de capítulos.
Al menos la revelación del villano real me pareció muy original, aunque he de decir que las fechorías que le fueron asociadas, podían haberse desarrollado mejor. Si al menos hubiesen quitado un poco de sexo, tal vez habría dado tiempo de desarrollar mejor a los personajes secundarios en los 8 capítulos que dura la mini serie.
La elección de los actores en sus diferentes edades pudo ser mejor también. En el personaje de Oliver, las diferencias son más evidentes. Su figura de adolescente no tiene nada que ver con su cara a los 30 y pocos años de edad. Aunque, no puedo negar, que en la actuación ambos actores lograron recrear los gestos en buena medida.
La música cumple con su objetivo de sumergirnos en este caos de pasión juvenil ardiente. Esto es compatible con lo que ya había mencionado sobre atraer público superficial.Pudo haber sido mejor, pero al menos para entretenerse varias noches de apagón sin otra cosa que hacer, la serie vale la pena.
