We may not be able to tell when the particular time that God will show up concerning a particular matter in our lives is but we must be on alert whenever the time comes. As christians we should always be prepared and vigilant.
When you reject or take lightly the opportunities God gives, you end up with loss and regret. We ought to prepare well, and make ourselves available to God to achieve purpose.
We shouldn't miss any moment. We should make whatever sacrifice necessary to be where we should be at every given time, so that everything God has planned and purposed to do in and through our lives will be accomplished in Jesus’ name.
We should be ready and alert like the four committed friends of the paralyzed man. Those four friends were fully convinced that Jesus had the power to heal and that this was their friend’s last opportunity. They loved him enough to go to any length for his miracle. At that point they knew that was the perfect time God had designed to receive his healing and so they ensured that they didn't let it pass them by.
We should be expectant, like the lame beggar who looked expectantly up to Peter and John and was healed. This is the power of expectation. Be attentive to the word of God. Recall the cripple in the congregation as Apostle Paul preached in Lystra. When Paul saw that the man was listening intently, the Bible records that Paul perceived that he had faith to be healed. Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.
