Ignorance results to superstition, promotes bondage and hinders growth. The Bible in Proverbs 1:5 says: "A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel".
Whatever field you are venturing into, seek the knowledge required to excel. If you after interested in furthering your education, pursue it, whether it's a university degree or Bible school. Strive to understand your calling as deeply as possible. Don’t settle for the status quo or mediocrity, press for excellence. Knowledge is power and the Bible is in full support that we pursuit of it.
Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding”.
But this does not mean we should belittle or ignore the word of God. All the knowledge that we are able to garner in this earth is of little or no use for our journey on this earth. The Bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. It's not enough to educational knowledgeable, we also should be spiritually enlightened.
