Murmansk region is a region in the north-west of Russia which is located beyond the Arctic Circle. The region borders on Norway and Finland and is washed by the White Sea and the Barents Sea. The northern climate is tempered by the warm North Atlantic Current which is a continuation of the Gulf Stream. You may like mountain ranges, many rivers, and lakes. You will see the severe taiga and the tundra of the North. My friend sent me these pictures of the Titovka River and its waterfalls. I am happy to share with you the beauty of nature in Northern Europe.
