1 Blessed is the child that walked not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor in the way of sinners, Nor sat in the seat of scoffers;

2 But in the law of the Lord is his delight, And in his law day and night.

3 It will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, and its leaf does not fall;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

4 Not so bad,
That they are like the time that the wind snatches.

5 Therefore, the wicked will not rise at the judgment,
Not sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous;
But the path of the wicked will perish.
