Think of what you are most afraid of...
Is it something rational, like the fear of falling 500+ feet off a cliff because your legs are dangling off and itβs windy outside? Is it something irrational, like fear of responsibility? The first thing you must do is identify, and clarify your fears. It can take a lot to admit youβre afraid but itβs a 100% necessity if you want to be able to move on with your life.
Try to remember the last time you experienced this certain thing...
Was it a long time ago? Was it only one time, or many times? Are you actively trying to feel comfortable during these fearful times? Or do you just accept that you have the fear and give up?
Try to do the things youβre afraid of more often. This is how you get over your fear.
Iβve always had a fear of heights. So hanging my feet off the top of Pulpit Rock in Colorado Springs took a lot of me, but it ended up being so worth it! In order to move on, first you must embrace!
