I’ve been loom knitting. The green yarn is a Red Heart Super Saver number. Still have a lot left cause of how gauzy these knits are.
Purse is a little over the shoulder number - fits my phone comfortably or a medium sized skein of yarn. Handle is done with 2 pegs. Rectangular loom knitted in the round.

The hat is a bit short. Or maybe my head is just too big. Circle loom. I tried to k2tog to finish but the rigidity of the loom made it a bad idea. Ended up finishing with a crochet hook - not sure what the stitch is called, it’s almost but not quite double crochet - 1 and a half? Like single but add another loop (so crochet together 2, add new loop with my trailing yarn and crochet, add 2nd loop and crotchet, then move next loop onto hook, repeat). I haven’t actually started learning to crochet so have no idea what that’s called - besides practical. I used that method to finish the top of the purse too. I think true double crochet has a loop added before the first 2tog thing? I might try that for finishing loom knits in future, as soon as I learn how to crochet.

So anyways, thanks for reading about my loom knitting saga. Here’s the projects below! Each took slightly under 3 hours. I’m more excited for the purse than the hat but both are proud achievements.
